What is Lumecca® Peak?
Lumecca Peak is an advanced IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) treatment from InMode. It uses high-intensity, precisely delivered light energy to target specific pigments and blood vessels within the skin. The body’s natural healing process then gradually clears the treated areas, revealing a more even and rejuvenated complexion.

What makes Lumecca® Peak different from traditional IPL?
Lumecca Peak is designed to deliver high optical power with a shorter pulse duration, allowing energy to be delivered efficiently and precisely. It also incorporates a sapphire cooling system to help protect the skin and improve patient comfort during treatment. Your doctor will select the appropriate settings according to your skin type, concern and treatment area.
Can Lumecca® Peak be used on all skin tones?
Lumecca Peak can be used across a range of skin types and tones when appropriately assessed and treated by our Doctor. Because IPL settings must be carefully selected according to your individual skin, Dr. Jose Asgard will assess your skin before treatment to determine whether Lumecca Peak is suitable and which settings are appropriate for you.
How many treatments will I need?
The number of treatments varies depending on your skin concern, severity and desired result. Some patients notice a significant improvement after one treatment, while others may benefit from a series of treatments.
Typically, 1–5 sessions may be recommended, with treatments generally spaced around 3–6 weeks apart.

When will I see results?
Some improvements may become visible within the first few days following treatment. As the skin continues to regenerate and the body clears treated pigmentation and vascular concerns, results can continue to develop.
Enhanced results may be visible within 1–2 weeks, with optimal results often developing around 3–6 weeks after treatment.

What does Lumecca® Peak feel like?
Most patients describe the treatment as a series of quick, warm snaps or pulses. The integrated sapphire cooling tip helps cool the skin during treatment and is designed to improve comfort.
What should I expect before and after the treatment?
For best results we would recommend to avoid direct sun exposure before the treatment, as we cannot treat recently sunburned or sun tanned skin. Following the treatment we would recommend regular application of SPF 30-50 as you skin may be more sensitive to the sunlight in the first 24-72 hours post treatment. To promote accelerated healing and calming of the skin we would also recommend the application of ALASTIN Regenerating Skin Nectar. Lumecca® Peak typically involves minimal downtime, although temporary redness, warmth or sensitivity may occur. Pigmented areas can temporarily become darker before gradually fading or clearing as the skin heals. Your doctor will provide further personalized aftercare instructions based on your treatment.
